Gran Premi De Catalunya 2015: 14 June

lorenzo

There may be no guarantee of a ‘perfect’ MotoGP weekend, but if we were to rate the event with the highest probability of an exciting, stress-free weekend, Catalunya would top the list. And we are still shivering from the excitement of the 2009 racing…!
It really has it all: one of the top tracks in MotoGP with never a dull race; in Barcelona – a city that is 10 years ahead of any other city in Europe; super facilities, virtually guaranteed good weather, easy (and often cheap!) to get to and reasonable prices.
The circuit is brilliant for riders and spectators. No matter how familiar the riders are with the circuit itself, the track always throws up unique challenges to the teams and riders: a rough and bumpy surface, high tyre-wear and rapidly changing wind conditions which turn both the preparation and riding into a war of strategy and endurance. However the verdict is in: Rossi rates it among his favourites.
Witnessing the on-circuit duelling is great from most viewpoints, but our favourite spots are the north loop – B/G/C (all about the same) where riders like to show off after winning; and our current favourite spot is stand H with views to both the loop and the final corner. This has a particularly nice VIP Village as well – with great facilities and just over the start grid. In fact, in our view, this circuit has the best facilities overall of the tournament, and is a very well-organised event; having won the coveted IRTA ‘best event’ award 3 times (only Brno has matched this record).  This year we add a very special Pole Position Club hospitality suite, with paddock access on shared basis!
Not that it needed any more cool points, but this is in Barcelona after all! If you have never been to this amazing city, then we urge you to cut the Friday practice sessions and join our private tour from a local guide (and moto enthusiast!). This is the city of Gaudi and dozens of other splendours. But it is also one of the most modern and stylish cities in the world.
In Barcelona all our packages are in the heart of the city; and all feature secure garage parking in case you are biking down for the weekend. We offer 2 packages: a 3*+  City and a top notch Deluxein a 5* hotel you will not want to leave. All come with our usual shuttle service on Sat/Sun, guides (Spanish speaking some!), and our Catalunya merchandise.
We really roll out the carpet on this one, with an Opening Party dinner with a star guest from our partner MotoGP Team Gresini. Saturday You have the choice of our MotoNight in paddock experience or join us in Barcelona for our ‘Tapas Night’ at a famous tapas bar. Sunday we close at the waterfront with a classic Barcelona restaurant near Las Ramblas.
